Aliya R. Aaron, MSHS, BSN, RN is Managing Principal of AMR Healthcare Consulting, LLC, a technology firm delivery innovative healthcare IT solutions since 2010. Aliya is also the Founder and Executive Director of Nursing Innovation Hub, Inc., a nurse-led healthcare technology business accelerator established in 2019 to support entrepreneurs and aspiring innovators building for the future of health.
Aliya is a critical care registered nurse, informaticist, and researcher with over 20 years of healthcare industry experience. Prior to founding AMR, Aliya served as a clinical strategist and nurse informaticist for large software vendors where she developed and implemented electronic healthcare record systems and solutions for healthcare organizations. She also served as a nurse researcher for John Hopkins University and National Institutes of Health, as well as a Healthcare IT Consultant for the VHA Chief Health Informatics Office supporting the clinical and business information system of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
Aliya is a published author, invited speaker, and supports the entrepreneurial community as an advisor, mentor, judge, speaker and board member for several business organizations. She has been featured in Fox News, CBS, NBC, Today's Purpose Woman, Women in Tech Review, Med Tech Outlook, Journal of Nursing Informatics and International Archives of Nursing and Health Care. She is a national and internationally recognized expert in healthcare technology software development and for developing innovative technology solutions to health and wellness.
Aliya has a Master of Science in Health Systems Management from George Mason University, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Winston-Salem State University. She is committed to improving healthcare outcomes, empowering women and minorities in business and technology.
